The Pen Duick, built in 1898, is renowned as one of the most exquisite sailing boats ever created. Its simple yet captivating design, combined with its intricate sail rigging, makes it truly remarkable. 

Skilled master craftsmen handcraft each of these wooden models from scratch, using historical photographs, drawings, or original plans as their guide. They ensure that every detail is captured with precision. These models are built to scale, using top-quality wood such as western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany. The construction process follows the plank-on-frame method, similar to how actual ships are built. Each model is 100% hand built individually, reflecting the dedication and artistry of the craftsmen. The completion of each model requires hundreds of hours of work. Furthermore, before leaving the workshop, every model must pass through a rigorous quality control process.

Upon closer examination, you'll notice various intricate details on the deck, including hatches, winches, and a cabin. You'll also find a metal tilter on the deck near the companionway. The sail, expertly stitched, along with the intricate rigging, truly captures the essence of a genuine sailing boat.

This model arrives at your home with the mast folded down and will require some minor assembly such as setting up the mast and straightening out the riggings.
