Shopteli is proud to present the Xebec Saking Ship.

This model showcases a vessel frequently used by Barbary pirates in the Mediterranean Sea. Boasting a slimmer design than most tall ships, Xebecs were crafted for speed. This FULLY ASSEMBLED model is ready to be displayed as a testament to maritime history.

Our master artisans meticulously handcraft these highly detailed wooden models using historical photographs, drawings, and original plans. Made to scale with premium woods such as western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany, each model is constructed using the plank-on-frame method, similar to the process used for actual ships. Each piece requires hundreds of hours of work and must pass a stringent quality control process before leaving our workshop.

The Xebec features three masts adorned with an intricate array of riggings. Gold-coated metal cannons can be found around the hull, and the ship's extended stern is a true eye-catcher. A miniature wooden rowboat, complete with oars, is situated on the deck. Discover numerous detailed sculptures and ornaments throughout the model, paying homage to its rich history.
